Old Yazidi women. Carsema Sor Feast (The Red Wednesday), which represents rebirth, the harbinger of good days, the beginning of spring or absolute goodness for the Yazidis, was celebrated in the Viransehir district of Sanliurfa. Carsema Sor (The Red Wednesday), also known as the "New Year of the Yazidis", is celebrated every year on the first Wednesday after the 13th of April.
