On Palm Sunday, preceding Easter, seen in the historic center of the city at the garden of Blessed Thomas Mary Fusco , an altar with palm branches at the feet to bless. There was a large number of faithful who raised the branches of palms to be blessed by the priest Flaviano Calenda. At the end of the blessing the faithful in procession went to the Church of the Body of Christ where the Mass was celebrated . On this day we remember the triumphant Entry into Jerusalem of Jesus, riding a donkey and cheered by the crowd who greeted him waving palm branches . The crowd, gathered by the voices of Jesus' arrival, spread their cloaks on the ground, while others cut branches from the trees around them, and joyfully waved them to honor him.
