Diyarbakir residents are seen celebrating Amedspor's championship in the squares. Amedspor, which competes in the 2nd League of the Turkish Football Federation, became the champion with a 0-0 draw with its rival in the last match of the league and was promoted to the 1st League after 10 years. The championship of Amedspor, the team from Diyarbakir, the largest Kurdish-populated city in Turkey, was celebrated with festivities by thousands of people not only in Diyarbakir but also in other cities where Kurds live.
