A couple of Union Army soldiers stand guard at the roundhouse of the Petersburg Railroad in Petersburg, Virginia. The boxcar seen on the left reads P&WRR (Petersburg Weldon Railroad) which was a combination of the Petersburg and Weldon railway lines running south into North Carolina.
