04 May 2024, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Stralsund: The sailing ship "Gorch Fock I" is moored at the equipment quay of the Volkswerft shipyard. The Hanseatic city of Stralsund has purchased the training sailing ship Gorch Fock I and had it refurbished at the shipyard. The city of Stralsund is expecting thousands of visitors on the occasion of the Open Shipyard Day on Saturday.
