Sailor Louis Jordan, who was reportedly lost at sea for 66 days, is healthy and strong one day after his remarkable rescue. Here he is the day after his "miraculous Easter return" [Saturday April 4, 2015] at his mothers house in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Some people have accused Jordan, 37, of spinning a fishy story because he is apparently in such good health after spending more than two months lost at sea with minimal supplies. "I have god as my witness," said Jordan on Saturday in response to critics. "For him to be in his current state was pretty amazing," said Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyle McCollum, an aviation survival technician who helped rescue Jordan. Jordan, a former truck driver, was released from a Virginia hospital on Friday, less than 24 hours after being rescued 200 miles off Cape Hatteras, N.C. Back at home with his family Jordan said he refused regular ice cream offered by his mother when because he had been "dreaming of organic ice cream" the whole time he was a castaway. "We are going to make some organic ice cream ourselves," he said.
