01 June 2024, Brandenburg, Cottbus: A man holds a book on the history of the Cottbus Park Railway at its 70th birthday. The Cottbus park railroad was founded 70 years ago as a pioneer railroad. The narrow-gauge railroad is still operated today with the help of many children and young people; the seven locomotives and numerous carriages run from April to October on a track length of 3.2 kilometers.
