BTS Jin's birthday, Dec 4, 2023 : A birthday advertisement arranged by BTS member Jin's fans to celebrate his birthday is seen on a LED board of a department store building in central Seoul, South Korea. Jin turned 31 on Dec 4. Jin (Kim Seok-Jin) began his military service in December last year. He is now serving as a drill instructor at an Army boot camp. All able-bodied men are required to serve in the military for 18 months in South Korea which is technically still at war with North Korea as the 1950-53 Korean War ended with a truce, not a peace treaty.
