NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 14, 2025: The Metropolitan Museum of Art unveiled its 2025 Roof Garden Commission, Ensemble, a striking new installation by artist Jennie C. Jones, on April 14, 2025. On view from April 15 to October 19 atop the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden, the site-specific work features sculptural interpretations of string instruments�zither, Aeolian harp, and one-string�crafted from powder-coated aluminum and concrete. Drawing from musical and architectural references within The Met, Jones�s minimalist and sound-charged forms invite viewers to explore the intersection of visual art and acoustic experience.
