Pro-Palestine demonstrators rallied outside of Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, New York City where a presidential campaign fundraising event for Joe Biden attended by Biden, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton took place. Demonstrators condemned the Israel Defense Forces' military operations in Gaza and the United States government for arming the IDF. On Monday, the United Nations Security Council adopted a resolution demanding a ceasefire between the IDF and Hamas until the end of Ramadan. The United States abstained from the vote. Since the war started on October 7, 2023, Gaza's health ministry said more than 32,000 people have been killed in Gaza, a territory ruled by Hamas.
