May 1, 2024 - New York, New York United States: A massive crowd of pro-Hamas anti-Israeli protesters flooded Foley Square, just a day after the police cracked down and arrested hundreds of student demonstrators, and broke up anti-Israel encampments at Columbia University and other New York City colleges. They marched from Foley Square to City Hall and uptown. Over 1,000 demonstrators chanted “Palestine is our right,” “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” They carried Palestinian flags, anti-Israel signs, and chanted "Intifada revolution".
