Protest demanding dismissal of South Korean President Yoon and the dissolution of his ruling People Power Party, Feb 1, 2025 : People participate in a protest march demanding dismissal of South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol and the dissolution of Yoon's ruling People Power Party (PPP) in central Seoul, South Korea. About 100,000 people participated in the protest, according to the rally organiser. The impeached President Yoon was formally detained on January 19 over allegations of insurrection and abuse of power related to his short-lived imposition of martial law on December 3.
