(141001) -- GUILIN, Oct. 1, 2014 (Xinhua) -- Photo taken on Oct. 1, 2014 shows the "Sun Pagoda" which catches fire in the Fir Lake in Guilin, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The bronze-coated concrete pagoda, which was 41 meters tall and made of 350 tonnes of bronze, caught fire on Wednesday morning. Firefighters put off the fire, which had lasted for more than two hours. The double pagodas, dubbed "Sun and Moon" in the Fir Lake, were rebuilt in 2001, on the foundation of something dated back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). They have been among the tourist landmarks of Guilin. (Xinhua/Lu Bo'an) (lfj)
