(110104) -- KAIYANG COUNTY, Jan. 4, 2011 (Xinhua) -- An electrician with the Guizhou Power Grid clears ice off electric wires in Kaiyang County, southwest China's Guizhou Province, Jan. 4, 2011. Power supply in Guizhou was seriously disrupted by snow and sleet which had hit the province. Twelve of 500KV power lines became ice-coated, though the main network remained stable and secure. After immediate repair and maintenance, power supply had been resumed in 45 townships which suffered blackouts during the weather havoc. (Xinhua/Ou Dongqu) (ljh)
