PRODUCTION - 23 September 2022, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Sassnitz: The last visitors to the viewing platform of the chalk cliff Königsstein on the island of Rügen can be photographed in historical costumes. On Sept. 25, 2022, the lookout point on the 118-meter-high rock will be closed to visitors forever. After a three-day farewell program, the chalk cliff will be closed for the construction of the new Königsweg. In the future, the new structure suspended from a mast will hover above the rock, protecting it from erosion. Photo: Jens Büttner/dpa
