PRODUCTION - 26 April 2024, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Posewald: Steam locomotive 99 4801, built in 1938 at the Henschel locomotive factory (Kassel), pulls a passenger train of the Rügensche BäderBahn (RüBB) past a blossoming rape field on the Baltic Sea island of Rügen. (Aerial view with a drone) The so-called "Rasender Roland" runs between Göhren and Putbus on narrow-gauge tracks with a gauge of 750 millimetres. The train, which is particularly popular with tourists, has been crossing the island at a comfortable 30 kilometers per hour since 1895 and connects the seaside resorts with each other. Since the beginning of 2008, Eisenbahn-Bau- und Betriebsgesellschaft Pressnitztalbahn mbH from Jöhstadt in Saxony has been the operator of this narrow-gauge railroad. Photo: Jens Büttner/dpa
