PRODUCTION - 23 September 2022, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Sassnitz: A man takes a photo of the chalk cliff Königsstuhl with the viewing platform for visitors on the island of Rügen. On Sept. 25, 2022, the lookout point on the 118-meter-high rock will be closed to visitors forever. After a three-day farewell program, the chalk cliff will be closed for the construction of the new Königsweg. In the future, the new structure suspended from a mast will hover above the rock, protecting it from erosion. Photo: Jens Büttner/dpa
