Protest demanding the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-Yeol, Feb 17, 2024 : South Koreans hold a protest demanding the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-Yeol in Seoul, South Korea. Thousands of people attended the rally. Participants demanded Kim Keon-Hee, wife of President Yoon, to accept investigation by a special prosecution as they insist the first lady has been manipulating state affairs. Kim came under fire after video footage was released in November 2023 of her receiving a Christian Dior bag, valued at around US$2,200 from a Korean American pastor in September 2022.
