August 28, 2018 - Sydney, New South Wales, Australia: "Pop-up Globe," an Auckland, New Zealand Shakepearean theatre company has erected in Sydney the world's first full-scale temporary working replica of the second Globe, the theatre Shakespeare and his company built and opened in 1614 after the first Globe theatre burned down. The 16-sided, 900 capacity, three storey tall Pop-up Globe's Sydney season will feature peformances of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, The Merchant of Venice, and The Comedy of Errors.
