PRODUCTION - 03 September 2025, Bavaria, Aschau a.Inn: A man works on a piece of rolled material for the production of propellant powder, which is lying on a table. The propellant powder produced from this material is then filled into combustible molded parts to be processed into artillery howitzers. Propellant powder consists mainly of nitrocellulose. The photo was taken at a Nitrochemie Aschau GmbH plant in Aschau am Inn. Nitrochemie is a joint venture of the Rheinmetall Group.
