dpatop - 10 December 2025, Hesse, Frankfurt/Main: A construction crew is working in the area of a switch fault. A damaged rail segment is being cut out and replaced with a new piece of rail. S-Bahn services in and around Frankfurt experienced considerable disruption, delays and cancellations last Tuesday (09.12.2025). The reason was a defective switch between the "Galluswarte" and "Messe" S-Bahn stations. The fault is currently being rectified by a construction team in the early hours of this morning.
