12 October 2025, Brandenburg, Frankfurt (Oder): The town hall of Frankfurt (Oder). The run-off election for the mayor of the city in East Brandenburg took place on the same day. In Frankfurt (Oder), an AfD politician could become mayor of a city for the first time in Germany. In the election on September 21, the non-party candidate Strasser was just ahead of the AfD candidate Möller (30.2 percent) with 32.4 percent.
