(200322) -- NANNING, March 22, 2020 (Xinhua) -- Aerial photo taken on Oct. 16, 2019 shows a tap water pressurizing station on the top of a mountain in Long'an County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In the region, nearly half of poverty-stricken people live in areas with stony desertification which caused severe drinking water shortage. During China's 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) period, local authorities have stepped up the constructions of water conservancy facilities, helping ease water shortage and providing safe drinking water for the locals.
