(250125) -- OSWIECIM, Jan. 25, 2025 (Xinhua) -- This photo taken on Jan. 24, 2025 shows a view of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Oswiecim, Poland. The 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp will fall on Jan. 27, 2025. The WWII death camp was established by the Nazis in 1940. According to estimates, at least 1.1 million people lost their lives at the camp. The concentration camp was liberated by the Soviet Army on Jan. 27, 1945, a day that became International Holocaust Remembrance Day. (Xinhua/Zhang Kun)
