24 February 2023, Berlin: The wreck of a Russian T-72 tank stands in front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin. The wreckage of the tank, which will be used in Berlin to commemorate the anniversary of the Russian attack against Ukraine, arrived in the capital early Friday morning. The wrecked T-72 tank will serve as a memorial against the war for several days in front of the Russian Embassy on Unter den Linden boulevard. The tank will reportedly remain on the trailer with which it was transported from Ukraine to Germany.
