PRODUCTION - 11 September 2024, North Rhine-Westphalia, Wuppertal: A suspension railroad runs over a street. According to the Marco Polo Trendguide`25, the city in the Bergisches Land region is currently becoming something of an art stronghold: "If you're out and about in Wuppertal, you won't believe your eyes. Hyper-realistic, poetic, surreal and abstract murals are emblazoned meters high on the facades." They are part of the "Urbaner KunstRaum Wuppertal" (UKW) project, which will bring color to the neighborhoods with 24 large-scale paintings by the end of 2025. Photo: Rolf Vennenbernd/dpa
