14 November 2024, Thuringia, Neudietendorf: The vehicles for the winter service are ready at the Erfurt highway maintenance depot. For this year's winter season, the four Thuringian freeway maintenance depots have stockpiled a total of 10,300 tons of salt and around 1 million liters of brine. Around 180 employees are on standby in Breitenworbis, Erfurt, Hermsdorf and Zella-Mehlis.
