16 August 2018, USA, New York: "Aretha" stands above a sign in the subway station "Franklin Street". New York fans of Aretha Franklin have created a very special souvenir for the late soul singer. They decorated the subway station "Franklin Street" in the south of Manhattan with pens and stickers in memory of the singer. The station is actually named after Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the USA. The musician Aretha Franklin died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 76 on Thursday.
