PRODUCTION - 12 November 2024, Saxony, Markneukirchen: Kerstin Voigt shows a component for shawms from the 3D printer in the workshop of Voigt instrument makers in Markneukirchen. The TU Bergakademie Freiberg has developed a metal 3D printer for small instrument components together with the instrument maker. The Vogtland music corner was allowed to develop future technologies for instrument making in the federal project called "Imatech", which was funded with seven million euros.
