Three members of the Zwickau-based Inter Trab club reconstruct a Rallye Trabi at the workshop of the club in Chemnitz, Germany, 27 October 2017. In Zwickau, the birthtown of the Trabant, a 'Pappe', the German nickname for the car (lit. 'Cardboard'), can still be seen driving through the streets from time to time. Although the small and dirty car is not compatible for the masses anymore, the GDR symbol can still count on a loyal fanbase all over the world - even 60 years after its invention.
