11 September 2024, Saxony-Anhalt, Dessau-Roßlau: Philip Burchard, Managing Director of the pharmaceutical company Merz, stands in front of the plant in Dessau-Roßlau. The pharmaceutical company has now put a new production line into operation. According to the Saxony-Anhalt Investment and Marketing Company, Merz has invested around 50 million euros in the sterile filling line. It was announced in the spring that the pharmaceutical company was planning to relocate capacities to Dessau-Roßlau in the long term.
