21 May 2025, North Rhine-Westphalia, Cologne: Meat products at ALDI SOUTH are sorted in refrigerators according to the type of farming. The new refrigeration concept for animal husbandry labeling was presented here. ALDI SOUTH is the first major supermarket to present a new sorting system for fresh meat refrigeration according to farming methods instead of animal species - green stands for farming methods 3-5, blue for 1-2.
