25 March 2023, Saxony-Anhalt, Thale: Dog handlers go with their search dog "Oskar" in a forest area near Hasselfelde in search of a porcupine. In the zoo at Hexentanzplatz in Thale in the Harz Mountains, one of the two porcupines has continued to disappear since last Saturday. After further sightings, it stays in the Harz Mountains. Volunteers therefore continued to search with some rescue dogs that are specially trained to find missing people and animals. After a few hours, the search was interrupted.
