To kick off a new research and restoration project entitled "The Medieval North Transept Portal of Halberstadt Cathedral - Uniting Research and Restoration Practice in University Education," the Kulturstiftung Sachsen-Anhalt and the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences are continuing their previous collaboration with another project at Halberstadt Cathedral. The current project is dedicated to applied research on the investigation and restoration of medieval natural stone surfaces using the example of the endangered north transept portal located there.
