23 March 2023, Berlin: Bone boxes containing human bones are carried to the gravesite at Waldfriedhof Dahlem after the funeral service. The human remains recovered during several excavations on the campus of Freie Universität Berlin since 2015 come from victims of crime contexts, in particular from collections in the former Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Anthropology, Human Heredity, and Eugenics.
