21 March 2023, Saxony, Döbrichau: Managing director Christiane Alex-Kretzschmar of Dr. Alex Rolllrasen und Begrünung GmbH in Döbrichau is preparing the sports and play turf, which is currently in particularly high demand, for a residential area in Behlitz near Berlin and for customers in Dresden and Erfurt. In spring-like temperatures, harvesting of the turf sown a year ago in the small town in northern Saxony and near Berlin has begun on 120 hectares. The natural turf, grown using a patented fermentation process, is supplied as sports turf, sports and play turf, stressed dry turf, semi-shaded turf and robotic lawns to customers throughout Germany.
