18 April 2024, Bavaria, Munich: Access to the Heckenstaller Tunnel on the Mittlerer Ring is blocked by a barrier. Following a vehicle fire on Thursday night, an important tunnel on the Mittlerer Ring in Munich has been closed. According to the police, the Luise-Kiesselbach Tunnel was still not accessible in a clockwise direction in the morning. This led to massive traffic obstructions, including on the 95 freeway, which joins the Mittlerer Ring there.
