12 August 2022, Saxony-Anhalt, Weddersleben: The Devil's Wall near Weddersleben in the Harz Mountains is illuminated by the moon. Its bright light obstructs the view of the shooting stars that are currently making their way across the night sky. On Saturday night, astronomers expect the annual meteor stream of the Perseids. However, this time the shooting stars will not be easily visible in many places because of the previously rising full moon. Photo: Stephan Schulz/
