August 10, 2012 - New York, New York, United States: R&B artist R. Kelly attends a book signing for his book "Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me" at Barnes & Noble on Chambers Street. As of July 2019, R. Kelly faces federal charges in Illinois and New York that include sexual exploitation of children, child pornography, racketeering, kidnapping, forced labor, trafficking women and girls interstate for sex, and conspiracy to defraud the US. He was indicted on 18 charges related to his alleged sex cult involving underage girls and a federal judge has ordered him to be held without bond. The singer entered a not-guilty plea.
