13 January 2022, Brandenburg, Baruth: A white red deer stands near the path in a meadow next to fallow deer and mouflons. The white coat color in red deer is rare and is caused by a recessive gene in the genetic material of some animals. The park in the district of Klasdorf was founded in 1997, is privately run and is home to about 250 European animals on an area of about 100 hectares. Photo: Soeren Stache/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB
