12 January 2022, Saxony, Oberwiesenthal: A snow cannon is used to make snow on the slope at the long T-bar lift. On Saturday, 15.01.2022, this year's ski season will be officially launched at Fichtelberg. Due to Corona, the ski area is only open to those vaccinated and recovered (2G), and a mask must be worn when queuing at the lift and in the lift itself. The 2G status is checked before purchasing the ski pass as well as in the ski resort.
