17 April 2024, Brandenburg, Bad Saarow: The former summer house of the musician and composer Xaver Scharwenka - today a place of culture and encounters. Xaver Scharwenka (1850 - 1924) was an internationally renowned composer, piano virtuoso and music teacher. His list of works comprises more than 100 pieces. The musician, who was extremely popular in his time, had a summer house built in Saarow between 1910 and 1911, which he affectionately called "my muse's hut". Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa
