A 5 alarm fire destroys a historic WWII air hangar as Edmonton Fire Department protects the site from spreading to additional buildings. The Hangar which was built in 1942 was declared a historical building of significance for its part in the shipment of Equipment, Troops and aircraft for the US Forces on route to Russia.
