In the wake of Donald Trump's first criminal trial members of the activist groups Truth Tuesdays and Rise and Resist gathered on April 23, 2024 for the weekly Fox Lies Democracy Dies event outside the NewsCorp Building in Manhattan. Activists are pushing back against Rupert Murdoch's right-wing propaganda machine still that -in their opinion- still echoes Trump's falsehoods that he is a victim rather than a mob-boss criminal and wannabe dictator.
