North Korea has conducted a tactical drill simulating a nuclear counterattack involving super-large multiple rocket launchers, state media said on April 23, a day after South Korea said that North fired short-range missiles into the East Sea. North Korean leader Kim Jong un guided the drill held on April 22 to operate super-large multiple rocket units that will have an "important role in substantially strengthening the prompt counterattack capacity of the state nuclear force," the Korean Central News Agency said. "This drill was conducted at a time when the military confrontation of the enemy against North Korea is extremely provocative and aggressive, and it is a clear warning signal to the enemy," the Korean Central News Agency said.
