15 April 2024, Brandenburg, Letschin: An old S-Bahn train stands on the site of the Letschin Railway Association. Bernd Kutzke, Chairman of the Letschin Railway Association and former employee of Deutsche Bahn, and two dozen like-minded people have been tinkering with old technology in the Oderbruch region for 25 years. Together, they have amassed a large collection of signaling equipment, station clocks, display boards, old timetables and ticket printers as well as uniforms on their club premises at the Letschin level crossing - inventory and contemporary testimonies that would otherwise have been lost long ago.
