Trees emerging from the water of Nakuru lake. The village of Kalokol has been flooded during last years because, due to the climate change, the level of lake Turkana, and all the other lakes of the Rift Valley, has risen enormously. This phenomenon has submerged entire villages, forcing the population to abandon their homes and businesses, and produced devastating effects on natural ecosystems.
