The Bob Dylan�s painting �Sunset Monument Valley� is displayed at the �Retrospectrum� exhibition at Rome's Maxxi museum on January 21, 2023 , first European monographic exhibition to explore Dylan�s expansive visual oeuvre. More than 100 works including paintings, drawings and metal sculptures to explore over 60 years of creative activity of the famous songwriter and Nobel laureate Bob Dylan are on show until 30 April 2023. Like his music, Bob Dylan�s visual art captures that which he observes: the turbulence and melancholy of everyday life, the eternal passing of time, the universality of the human condition, the material infrastructure of life, its natural and artificial landscapes, its unpredictable twists and turns, its beauty� Within these themes, the exhibition offers the opportunity to retrace Dylan�s life journeys through time and space, in the United States and around the world.
