26 September 2022, Berlin: The honor formation of the German Armed Forces marches during the roll call for the Territorial Command of the German Armed Forces at the Julius Leber Barracks in Berlin-Wedding. In response to the changed security situation following the Russian attack in Ukraine, it was decided to concentrate the command of the armed forces in Germany in the new command. The commander of the Bundeswehr's new domestic command is Lieutenant General Breuer, who was previously head of the German government's Corona Crisis Staff in the Federal Chancellery.
