27 May 2024, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Pruchten: The temporary bridge for the closed Meiningen Bridge, which was put into operation in 2012, is opened. The Darßbahn once ran over the Meiningen Bridge. The line between Barth on the mainland and Prerow on the Baltic Sea peninsula of Fischland-Darß-Zingst, which was closed over 30 years ago, is to be revived, and a corresponding report was recently published.
